Lilly Pulitzer Fall Fashion for Little Lilly Lovers

 Good morning Lilly Lovers! At The Pink Pelican, we know many of our Lilly Lovers were disappointed to see the reduced size offerings in the Lilly Pulitzer Fall Minnie Collection. As the mom of a Minnie, I share your frustration. (Confession? The other Pelican Girls keep telling me that at 11 she's not technically a Minnie but I am okay with pretending.) For reference, my Minnie is 5'1" and was wearing a 14 in the Minnie items.

In the outfits below, we'll share links to the items as well as what size she is wearing. Lilly Love spans ALL ages and my daughter is a certified Lilly Lover from way back. There's no reason your tweens and teens can't be pretty and preppy and cute and colorful!

The Lilly Pulitzer Somerset Dresses are a favorite of the Pelican Girls and here my Minnie dons the Somerset Dress in Bocce ($108) in a small with the Lilly Pulitzer Critter Bow Belt in True Navy ($48) in an XS/S. As a mom, I love that these dresses are easy care and hold up so well.

The next outfit was probably my Minnie's favorite. Like everyone else, she has fallen in love with the Lilly Pulitzer Sloane Short. Basically, they just have the most flattering fit and fabulous fabrication. She wants every color. Here she's wearing the Sloane Shorts in Passion Pink ($88) in a 0 with the Lilly Pulitzer Porter Top in True Navy ($68) in an extra small. Even Minnies love Murfees--she is DYING for the Lilly Pulitzer Murfee in Wild Confetti ($118). I figure I can buy it for me and "share" it with her.

The Lilly Pulitzer Caila Dress is cute, comfy and works on any age and any body type. Here, my Minnie wears the Caila in Cyan Blue Gigi ($108) in a small. Tweens and teens love their jeans! Colored jeans are a terrific trend that's here to stay and we are in love with the Worth Skinny Mini Jeans in Lagoon Green ($148) in a 0 with the Lilly Pulitzer Porter Top in Passion Pink ($68) in an extra small, the Lilly Pulitzer Murfette in Tusk in the Sun ($78) and the Lilly Pulitzer Critter Belt Glitter in Gold Metallic ($48) in an XS/S. She loved these jeans and she's also wearing the Lilly Pulitzer McKim Sandals Padded Footbed in Gold ($88) in a 7.5.

Blazers are a fashion staple and this one is anything but all business and certainly shouldn't be relegated to the "BOREDroom" as Lilly Lovers are loving the Leighton. My Minnie is wearing the Leighton Blazer in True Navy ($178) in an extra small with the Worth Skinny Mini and the Hart Top in Cyan Blue Gigi ($58) in an extra small.

 What we love about Lilly is the color and the print and the way they all play perfectly together. All of the above pieces can be mixed and matched to create countless ways for your Minnie to be pretty in prep.
