The Pelican Girls share a sneak peek of Lilly Pulitzer Resort 2012!
Date: 06/01/2012
Good morning Lilly Lovers! Angie is up at The Pink Palace for the Lilly Pulitzer Resort 2012 Preview. The remaining Pelican Girls are so jealous we can hardly stand it as we LOVE going to The Pink Palace. It's fun, colorful and oh so Lilly! We love sneaking a peek in the Print Design Studio--seeing the design team at work and checking out their inspiration boards is always amazing. Since Angie is equally amazing, she has shared a couple peeks with us and we are tickled pink to share the theme for Resort AND for Lilly's wildest year yet!
Remember yesterday when I told you on Facebook that there's no party like a Pulitzer party? This new collection will make each and every occasion worthy of celebration! Running to the grocery store? Do it colorfully in the LATEST and GREATEST Lilly! From cocktail parties to school field trips, this collection promises to be better, brighter, bolder...and unabashedly beautiful.
Without further ado...the theme for Lilly Pulitzer for 2012-2013 is Lilly Throws a Party!
As the Queen of Pink and Green herself always said, "life is a party, dress like it!" The year kicks off with Resort and the theme of Palm Beach Bash. I will say, what is probably my favorite Lilly print EVER is part of this collection. How does the song go? "It's all just a little bit of history repeating..." I ALMOST forgot...did I mention there's SPARKLES? Sparkly is my favorite color and this season will deliver plenty of glitz and glam along with grab and go easy styles.
The party progresses through Spring with the theme of Party On and splashes into Summer with Party Crashers. Fall is still tbd but with all this build-up, the Pelican Girls KNOW it's going to be AH-mazing.
As The Pointer Sisters said we're, "so excited and we just can't hide it!"
Now the Pelican Girls want to know: what do YOU want to see in Resort? What's your FAVORITE season of Lilly?
*We do so love to surprise our Lilly Lovers so remember, we often surprise blog commentors with a little something.
